The component which is going to make the largest difference in determining the game’s FPS is the graphics card. However, the CPU also plays a large role – especially in strategy games. We benchmarked our system using two popular first person shooters. Although the increase in FPS wasn’t huge, it was certainly noticeable in-game and significant for a FPS.
All the Gaming Benchmarks were run with a resolution of 1280×1024 and with all games settings set to the highest possible quality.
