I’ve been testing the Concrete Cases Hook Case for around two weeks now, and I have to say it is one of the best, and most durable, cases I’ve used before. The real leather finish definitely helps protect whatever you happen to be carrying around as well.
I tested the case by putting my MacBook Air 13.3-inch inside and just carrying on with my business; taking it to town, other people’s houses and just out in general.
I have to admit, I did drop the Hook Case (with the MacBook inside) accidently, from about 2/3 feet, but, thanks to the aluminium frame and hugely protective leather exterior, there was no damage at all (Much to my relief!).
The ability to change the way you carry the Hook Case by moving the strap to different hooks is very clever as well; something I don’t think I’ve ever seen on a case before.
Overall, the Concrete Cases Hook Case has definitely made a lasting impression here with its ability to protect your laptop from knocks and scrapes fairly easily, thanks to the high-quality materials used.
The only thing we see here that might put people off is the price, which is currently around £149. However, you must remember that this is real leather and suede that you’re purchasing, so if you’re after the best, you’re going to have to spend that little bit more.
I was going to mention the strap length, and that I thought it was a little too short for me, however I noticed that you’re also able to purchase different sized straps from the Concrete Cases website, so that’s definitely a plus.
All in all, it’s been an absolute pleasure to use and test the Concrete Cases Hook Case and it’s definitely a purchase you won’t regret if you do choose to treat yourself!
