The Package

The CM Storm Scout arrived in a black and red styled box with a rather menacing crosshair targeting the upper front of the case. The product name ‘Scout’ is written in very bold large writing with the case’s slogan, ‘Swift Intelligence – Secure Mobilization’ written below. This slogan obviously targets the Cooler Master Storm’s target market, avid gamers, due to the fact it’s ideal for LAN parties.

Moving to the rear of the box you can see it’s much more informative. The features are listed, there’s a bit of background info about the case and some quotes from various review sites. The iconic head of a soldier with gas mask is positioned centrally with a red backlit visor; this too is a marketing attempt at targeting the gamer market. Also on the back of the box are many thumbnail images of the enclosure.

We didn’t take photos of the sides of the box, but the left side basically gives a table of specifications (similar to the one in the introduction) and the right side shows an image of the case standing in all it’s glory.

The Storm Sniper comes packaged between two Styrofoam sections and is carefully wrapped in a plastic bag. This ensures the case does not get scratched and damaged during transit.
