The Package

Although the box the HIS HD 4770 arrives in is honestly rather basic and nowhere near the standard of packaging you’d expect on an £70 product, it is however very well designed and stands out proudly. On the front the main product selling features are listed down the right hand side whilst the left shows a large spherical image, assuming to be the graphics card’s fan.

The rear of the box lists the features in more detail, a system requirements list and finally a sales pitch from HIS. Some award images from various review sites are also included; it seems HIS really are very proud of this video card.

After opening the box up and removing the contents, I can present you with the following contents:

  • Quick Installation Guide
  • Driver CD
  • Leaflet Instructing how to change from NTSC to PAL
  • DVI-HDMI Adapter
  • DVI-VGA Adapter
  • HIS Case Sticker

The lack of additional accessories is slightly disappointing. Many other card manufacturers bundle games, useful software and further adapters with their graphics cards. But then again, costing just £70 I wouldn’t expect many more accessories to be included.
