Crysis (DX10)

crysis HIS ATI Radeon HD4770 Graphics Card Review

We benchmarked Crysis using the ‘Crysis Benchmarking Tool’ from HOC. The tests we conducted were only DX10 based. Firstly, we simply stressed both the cards as much as possible with the maximum possible settings. We then lowered the quality to ‘Medium’ and tinkered with the Anti-Aliasing to produce a more acceptable frame rate.

Although none of the frame rates achieved with the quality set to ‘Very High’ were playable, by simply dropping the quality to ‘Medium’ gave us a frame rate nearly considered playable. If Anti-Aliasing was then dropped down to 0x this would give us a 1920×1200 setting which would easily be playable.
