Conclusion

What we have here is a power supply which looks great, is dead quiet and offers reasonably good rails. It is also quiet efficient too and so isn’t a bottleneck on your electricity bill.

In terms of negative aspects of the Nexus RX-8500, I can’t actually think of any except the not so good power factor. Still though, it’s not exactly an extreme problem as the wattage usage is still fairly impressive.

To sum everything up, I’d thoroughly recommend the Nexus RX-8500. If you want an 850W unit that looks good, performs well and is modular, this is the PSU for you.
