The Package
The box the Beta arrives in gives away that this case is a budget case. The box is a standard brown cardboard box and has been printed on using black ink, however hopefully the savings made here have been put to good use on the case itself.
The Front of the box has a black stripe across the top, written on the strip it says “BETA” and “STEEL MID TOWER”, no fancy slogans here. Also on the front of the box are a list of features and cooling information. The back of the box is identical to the front, hopefully this doesn’t mean there’s nothing interesting to say about the case.
The side of the box simply list the specifications in more detail and in four different languages.
Accessories
NZXT’s attempts at cost cutting are again made apparent with the selection of accessories supplied. Inside a small white box is a bag of various screws, some rails for the drive bays and a motherboard buzzer with a very small short cable. Also supplied is a small piece of paper which provides directions to a PDF file of the manual online, something which isn’t particularly useful if you only have one computer.
