The Package
The OCZ 6GB DDR3 Triple Channel kit arrives in a vacuum formed plastic pouch with the memory modules sitting tightly in position. As you can clearly see, the overall package is very bold. With the platinum coloured perforated memory heatsinks contrasting with the gradient blue background, if I saw this DDR3 kit on a shop hanger, OCZ would sure gain my attention.
The rear of the package isn’t as informative as I would have liked. There’s no mentioning of the specifications or unique features of this memory bundle. The only information evident describes OCZ’s market goals (performance, quality and customer support) and what triple channel is. This is a slight let down as I think relevant information such as timings, speeds and voltages would have been more important to any potential buyers.
After opening the plastic pouch you can see that the front and back of the package was indeed a folded installation leaflet. Opening the colourful cardboard leaflet shows a diagram of how to install the memory and lists the instructions in 5 different languages: English, Deutsch, Spanish, French and Italian.
