Overclocking
OCZ RAM is well known to overclock quite highly, I was therefore expecting great results from this bundle of memory. The first overclock I tried was to see what speeds I could get out of these sticks with the timings kept at their rated CAS 7 (7-7-7-24). The overclock I achieved was a stable DDR3-1703 with the voltage kept at 1.66v.

Given that on the first overclock I managed to achieve over a 100 MHz gain, I wasn’t expecting much more by loosening the timings. However, after hours of experimenting, countless BSOD screenings and a lot of fiddling, I managed to score a whopping DDR3-1884 stable overclock with the voltage set the same (1.66V), the timings at 9-7-7-24 and the command rate at 2T. So once again, OCZ have produced a memory bundle with plenty of overclocking potential.
