How did you apply the thermal paste? The Vendettas require the thermal paste to be applied to each pipe's surface in order to be effective; just applying it in the centre of the CPU will mean that the paste will get stuck in the voids between the pipe and aluminium block. I'd suggest you retest with the thermal paste application method that i mentioned-there is no way such a cooler is outperformed by the Intel Stock cooler. Just one question.
