Ozone Ground Level XT Gaming Pad Review

Conclusion
Priced at just £10 the Ozone Ground Level XT is a complete steal! Compared to other more expensive ‘professional gaming pads’ I’ve used in the past, the Ground Level XT is on par yet for a much reduced price.
With the thick foam padding it’s very comfortable to use for everyday usage, not like the plastic pads you get, which yes, are very good for gaming, but are really uncomfortable to use – especially for day-to-day usage.
For users with a 1600+ DPI setting, the Ozone is certainly large enough. My Mionix Naos has a 3200 DPI sensor and I only ever saw myself using 1/3 of the Ground Level XT’s width!
The only gripe I have about the Ozone Ground Level XT is the top cloth surface. Although many gaming mouse pads also use this material, it’s not the most slippery of surfaces, so users with a low DPI setting will find it frustrating to use. I can only think that there must be some other alternative material available, Lycra perhaps?
Bottom Line: I still hold my words in saying the Ozone Ground Level XT is a complete steal at just £10. There’s a load of online stores selling it, so if you’re after a ‘bang for buck’ mouse pad, this is the one for you.
