Cables and Connectors
When I said that the Turbo-Cool 860 has a vast array of cables, I meant it. I’d be very surprised if you ran out of connectors with this power supply. This isn’t all too good though, as in the end of the day, you’ve got to hide everyone of these cables somewhere… and that’s not an easy task.
However, they are all braided in black and have heat shrunk ends with black connectors on most, so at least PC Power and Cooling have attempted to make it easier.
The connectors included are as follows:
- 1x (1x 24-pin ATX Connector – not backwards compatible)
- 1x (1x 8-pin CPU)
- 1x (1x 4+4-pin CPU)
- 2x (1x 6-pin PCI-E)
- 2x (1x 6+2-pin PCI-E)
- 2x (4x SATA)
- 1x (4x Molex)
- 1x (3x Molex and 1x Floppy)
If you haven’t been counting the cables along the way, in total there are 11 cables.
