Conclusion
Out of all the power supplies we’ve tested so far, this is definitely the most stable. I know its rails are slightly worse compared to the other units, but having slightly more power to your components won’t hurt as much as having less.
The sheer amount of connectors included is vast and so there is definitely enough for anyone’s rig – being that they’re sane. However, as the cables are not modular, hiding the excess cables for some people could turn into a slight problem.
As for noise, it certainly wasn’t loud and it did well to keep up with power supplies with the lower rpm 120mm fan instead of the 80mm in this unit. It’s proved that 80mm’s really can be quiet.
The only downsides to this unit are it not being modular and it not exactly looking great aesthetically. These cons are really based on your personal preference; there are no major flaws with this unit.
For the reasons indicated, I’m pleased to award the PC Power and Cooling Turbo Cool 860W a healthy 5/5.
