Verdict

For those of you who enjoy juicing, or are looking for a high-quality juicer to start your new healthy lifestyle, the Philips Viva Collection juicers cost around the £100 mark. In my experience over the past few weeks, the juices I’ve made have been of a very high quality. The Viva extracts as much juice as it can from fruits and vegetables, and thanks to the large capacity of the juicer you can make enough juice to last a few days.

The extra-large feeding tube worked great with most small to medium sized fruits and everything was juiced extremely quickly. The great thing about the Viva was that there wasn’t any mess afterwards. Simply take apart the juicer, empty the pulp container and then give the parts a clean.

The size of the juicer could cause issues for some. I, personally, don’t have much shelving in my kitchen, so the juicer fits on the side just fine. For those with shelving, or cupboards, you could have some difficulty squeezing it underneath.

At the time of writing this review, Philips are currently offering the HR1867 stainless steel juicer for £59.99. A saving of over £50!
