The Package

There’s a lot going on with the packaging: a product image (with the fan attached) fills the bottom; to the right there are a few choice features which are also written in Japanese; finally at the top there are the expected product and company names along with a few other bits and pieces – for example compatibility.

Certainly a colourful and inspiring front, let’s hope the product continues this trend.

The back is a little blander with a long list of bullet points about warranty outside Japan atop a couple of warning and the usual logos.

There is a long list of accessories, as expected, for all the different mounting mechanisms:

  • Metal assembly clip for socket 478
  • Metal assembly clip for LGA775
  • Metal assembly clip for Socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+
  • Screws for assembly * 4
  • Clip for fan *2
  • Packet of thermal grease
  • Installation Guide

All pretty standard except the paste comes in a plastic packet instead of a tube.
