Seasonic M12D 850W Power Supply Unit (PSU)

The M12D comes in a matt black powder coated finish and so is very hard wearing. It measures 16cm in length which is about the standard for an ATX power supply.

The right side of the unit details the power specifications of the Seasonic and also gives warnings about removing the cover from the PSU. When mounted in your computer case, this is the side of the power supply that you will see.

Flipping the M12D over reveals a 120mm fan located centrally on the bottom of the PSU. To save your fingers, Seasonic have protected the fan with a shiny black fan grill with a Seasonic branded badge sitting comfortably in the centre.

At the front of the unit is a large honey comb mesh grill in replacement of an 80mm fan. Hot air will be exhausted from this. Also present is an on/off power switch, the usual power connector and a power badge.
