The Package

The packaging for this product is quite minimalistic with a simple image of the enclosure and a few features on the front, with the rear of the packaging as is to be expected carrying a more detailed description of the device along with the specs and features.

Within the main outer packaging the can be found:

  • 2.5" SATA HDD external enclosure
  • USB Y Type Cable
  • Power USB Y Type Cable
  • eSATA cable
  • SATA to eSATA adapter cable w/bracket
  • Screw fitting kit
  • Cleaning cloth (was missing from this unit)
  • Pouch
  • User manual and driver CD

This is quite a lot of stuff that has been packed into a small space with an extremely useful mini screwdriver and eSATA case bracket. This is great for users with spare SATA connections but no rear I/O eSATA ports. It is also nice to see the pouch is supplied with this too as I for one would like to be able to take my external HDD with me, without the risk of damaging or scratching it.
