Race Driver: GRID

Race Driver: GRID is the latest addition to the highly successful TOCA Touring Car series by Codemasters. The game was released on May, 2008 in most countries.
The games uses Codemasters’ in-house Ego engine, an evolved version of the Neon engine which is used on their previous release: Colin McRae DIRT. Throughout the game, cars and the environment can be persistently damaged due to the code being completely rewritten.

In these tests the GTX 285 performed very well with it hardly dropping in performance when changing resolution and filtering. It absolutely slaughtered the 9500GT – hardly surprising – and the 4850.
