The Consus P Series
After a quick look at the Consus, it’s quite a sleek, sturdy product. The top of the Consus features the Eagle logo as well as the product name and a blue power LED, there is also a seperate red LED to show hard disk activity.
The bottom of the Consus does not have any rubber feet or protection so it could easily be scuffed or scratched while on a desk.
Around the sides, is where the pull out USB cable is hidden. Also behind the cable are the screws to gain access to the inside. The rear of the enclosure is where the eSATA port and power connector are located.
Inside the Consus’ casing there are some SATA connectors attached to a small circuit board. The SATA connectors should mean our hard disk will connect straight up to these making installation effortless.
To keep the enclosure secure there are 4 screws included with the Consus (2 on either side) but unfortunately there is not a mini screwdriver included like some of the enclosures we have reviewed.
