Another new addition to Symbian Anna is ‘easier typing’ the qwerty keyboard now goes portrait so that its easier for one thinger typing and it worked well with the large screen, I had no problems with it at all. Alot of times the whole Symbian experience would be jerky and just not fun to look at it seems like everything is just there because it has too, and I can’t wait for Nokia to change its operating system to Windows, I think this will really give Nokia a good push onto the playing field with other smart-phones but Symbian Anna has really disappointed me, but if your a Nokia Fan and you want Symbian then go for it, its nice to have it in your pocket but for the price range it just isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Battery Life

The Nokia X7 has a 1200 mAh battery, it has up to 450 hours of standby time and 6hour 30minutes talk time, so your not going to have any issues with you when taking it out on an average day at work but if your continuously playing games, surfing the web then you may have a problem if your out for a long time as its powering a 4″ AMOLED screen.

Overall I really really like the whole look and design of the X7, it looks stylish while at the same time looking very professional. But there needs to be alot of improvements, firstly the camera has a fixed focus which I dislike, we should be able to have some depth of field, secondly the operating system is the biggest downfall of them all, but saying that Windows will be soon launching on new Nokia phones so say goodbye too Symbian, even though its not a great OS it still does everything nicely but just now and then can be very sluggish. And thirdly is the price range, its not exactly cheap coming in at a RRP price of £350 when it only has a 680 mHz processor and Symbian running as a OS, it stands no chance with its competitors, if it lowered its price it could see a few more sales.

If you’re a big Nokia fan then this is the phone for you, or if your looking for a phone that runs Symbian Anna then this could be the last Smartphone from Nokia that does. I just can’t wait any longer until it has a Windows OS then this phone could really kick some ass.
